It's a new year a a new post!

Trying out my new images and a new sketch challenge and used a new camera to take pictures. I am still trying to figure out where my pictures go when I upload them, the file path is never the same place I thought it was.My coloring is outside the lines, and it is not my best work, but, it's been over a month since I had time to stamp and I am rusty! Hopefully seeing this will motivate me to get better.

Salute to You

This is my second card using the MFT weekly sketch. I tried to stay truer to the actual sketch this time. I forced myself to use this Basic Grey paper I bought months ago, it's called Lauderdale. It is extremely bright paper and way out of my comfort zone. I basically went through the pack and found the least crazy patterns I was willing to try. Now I like It! I hope you do too.

Time to Celebrate

I am on a roll. I love A'la Modes! They are fun and cheerful. The second photo shows that I used a glaze pen over the top of the icing to give it a shine. Just a little something I threw together for a friend.
