Vacations ect...

I was hoping to have a post before I leave but it looks like I won't be stamping this week at all. That really bites because I have some new copic markers I have wanted to try out. But, I am super excited to be leaving for vacation. Vegas is going to be scorching hot but its hot here too so I don't expect it to be that different. I just love walking outside of the AC casinos into the *oven* outside, it makes you want to go back in and freeze some more. LOL. I am excited to get away for a few days and just hang out with my husband and try to relax. I will be back next week and then hubby is on vacation for a few more days so no stamping then either. Not sure where we will be for the 4th of July but we usually figure something out. See ya soon

A Muse little Dude

Here is a card I made for my 3 yo nephew. I thought he would like the robot boy. Very simple 10 minute card. I used my Copics to color him and my copic glitter pen over the top. I am not sure why, but the paper pilled on the yellow balloon. I wasn't about to start over again so I am hoping its not too noticable.

Natures Silhouettes in Blues

Another Natures Silhouettes card. This time I decided to go with monochromatic colors and do generational stamping. The main image is actually stamped on Basic Grey Periphery pattern paper.

  • Stamps: Innovative Stamp Creations Natures Silhouettes.
  • Ink: Pallette New Canvas(background), Not Quite Navy
  • Paper: Basic Grey Periphery, SU Not Quite Navy, Basic Black.
  • Accessories: SU scallop punch, 1 3/8" Circle punch, May Arts Ribbon

Aaaack! It's fathers day

Well, This is absolutely the last time I will wait until the last minute to make the cards! I swear, you heard it here first, I mean it this time, really! This is card number 1, its for my husband from our children and me.
And here we have number 2...it will be for my father and it will have a gift card to Barnes and Noble inside. I kinda cased this from the PTI web gallery. I had to make a bunch od substitutions for stuf I don't own.*sigh*
And here is number three..........notice how I started out strong with my first card, then the second one was a little more simple, and here on the third card, ten minute A Muse style card ! My FIL golfs so he gets this one. Its blurry in the photo, I tried , I really tried to un-blur it. At 1am, I just can't do it anymore. Its as good as it gets.

Welcome Home Baby!

Lookie what I brought home from the *store* yesterday! A brand spankin' new Limited Edition Toyota Rav4! WoooHoooo! I need to park it out front and get some better pictures but I wanted to see how it fit in my teeny garage space last night and protect it from the sprinklers that ran this morning. Its freshly washed LOL. Its Pacific Blue Metallic color with ash/grey leather seats. I am so excited! We usually buy used cars but with the way modern technology is, and the gas situation, we decided it was better to get new this time. It has lots of special features that I love, I can even plug my iPod into it (after I get the cord I need). It is so much better than my giant Expedition! I will be doubling my gas milage. We unfortunatly still need to unload the Expedition, trade in value was really horrible and we felt we could sell it ourselves and make more money, or we could just park it out at the deer lease and let it rot LOL. No one is in the market for giant gas guzzling SUV's right now.

A little Rubber Romance

I decided to practice my coloring today. I have trouble with large images so I need practice. I did use my few copics on this attempt. I seriously need to take the plunge and buy a whole set. I never have the right colors. Also, this is the new 6x6 CHF backgrounder Houndstooth stamp. I never did get around to getting the SU one so I was very happy to see this one.
  • Paper: SU Basic Grey, Basic Grey Boxer, Black
  • Ink: Copic Markers, Basic Grey, Ranger Adirondak Ink
  • Prima Flowers, May Arts Ribbon
